Who else is pumped for the new decade?!?

It’s a new year. A new decade. And i’m READY to conquer it! As long as it’s not a repeate of 2018…. we good!

Now, every year we say “This is it! This is going to be MY YEAR!” And then we lowkey sink back into our old habits. We meet new friends that might not be the best influnece on us. We start loosing track of time & are late for every appointment again. It just never fails. But THIS YEAR, I’m setting you guys up for success!!! We’re going to have NONE OF THAT moving forward in 2020!!

I wanted to create a list of items (20 to be exact) for you guys, to really set you up for success in 2020. From a lil bit of clothings, to accessories, to organizers, to equipments, to health & self care! Whatever you’re into, there’s something on this list for you, to help you have a great & successful year!

Here’s my 20 Things To Help Get You Through 2020!

Crewnecks are VERY MUCH the vibe rn! If you’re someone like me, always on the go, but like to still rock #CozyGang then this Champion University Of Michigan Reverse Weave Crewneck will be on you’ll love to rock. Such a great throwback crew with the University logo, it’ll also pair great with your Fujifilm Camera when you’re taking any disposables pictures this year. I’m not too sure why, but I’m really into film & film camera’s right now. It migh be the nostalgia of the 90’s, or just the surprising of not knowing what you get until you get them developed. But i’m telling you, grabb a film camera to capture special this year. You’ll be glad you did!

And if you’re trying to be booked & busy this year, you’ll be able to wear this anywhere! Even when heading to different spots in the city to record and edit content! In 2020, we’re being ORGANIZED!!! And that’s why I put a Daily Planner on this years list, because for me, it’s essential to write down my schedule, my ideas, my to-do list - EVERYTHING! When you’re a creative, and there’s a billion things you’re constantly thinking of, it’s important to have that idea when you thought of it. And just as important as writing things down, is keeping your same sorted & organized AND backed up!! I added an External Hard Drive for all those editors & creatives constantly - creating! A new decade calls for a new hard drive!

When traveling throughout your day, whether school, work, creative shoots, it’s important to have a bag that’s not only stylish, but also durable. So i’ve added a Herschel Supply Co. Travel Daypack for just that! These bags are PERFECT for any days out in the city, as well as carry on bags for the plane as well. Cause let’s face it - we’re going on TRIPS this year!! So we’ll need something to carry our valuables. And speaking of valuables, i’ve added the most valuable items to date - Airpods. Yes, I’ve added Airpods for a second year in a row because once you’ve had them, you can’t go back to anything else. So easy. So convenient. So portable. So useful! Do I need to continue ??

If you weren’t a Sneakerhead last decade, you’re bound to be one now! With so many dope sneakers to be copped as well as to be released, having The Ultimate Sneaker Book is almost a no brainer to have. If you’re shy to cop more sneakers because you’re not sure what to dress them with, grab a pair of these Dickies Cargo Pants! My prediction for this year is High-Top Sneakers! I think that’s a trend that’s coming up & everyone’s loving. This year, we’re taking SELF-CARE SERIOUSLY!!! And the great thing about self-care is that it starts with yourself. Some of my self-care essentials this year are including all four of these products. I’m not living the house without applying these two products. The Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray is a essential part of my skin care routine. I use it everyday to help keep my face hydrated. This year, i’m also investing in a good Eye Cream & i’m going to use this one from Kiehls! They have some great products & more specifically, now that i’m getting old & putting in that work constantly, I don’t always want to look like i got 3 hours sleep - even If I did …

Next are two products I use, maybe not all the time, but so glad I have them. For the men that have a beard & want to take care of their beard, definitely invest in this Essentials Beard Care Kit from Milkman Australia. This is what helps me with my own beard care, whether its growing out, or maintaining. Definitely one of my daily essentials. in addition, one of my weekly self-care routines is using a Charcoal Mask. And the one I use recently that seems to work very well for my skin is this Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask! I use it once a week, and it helps to deeply clean and skin & keep it fresh all week long!

Lastly, I made an area for your room & your space. It’s a new year. A new decade. And some of us are still rocking the old things we had in high school… I put a new Comforter from Urban Outfitters, because as we go into the new decade, it’s more than time to throw out the old (bed sheets) and throw on the new (bed sheets). In addition, to keep your room & your space smelling’ fresh, I added a Room Spray, also from Urban Outfitters. Just to keep your room looking & smelling it’s best.

I also wanted to add some tech pieces. Not everyone has a Bluetooth Speaker & this one is amazing to have, to just get ready or jam out to your favourite new tunes. But also having a wireless charger! This one is from Belkin & it’s one of my favourites! It makes charging your phone soooo easy!

And there we have it! Those are my 20 Things To Help Get You Through 2020! Although they may not help you with every little thing life may throw at you this year, it will make 2020 a lil easier, and hopefully you’ll go through the year with confidence, as these items help you with ease!
