🍂 Fall is fully underway & there’s tons of fall essentials you can’t be caught without! 🍂
Okay, okay - the weather isn’t the only climate we’re facing this year. With Covid & these local lockdowns, not many people are leaving their houses in -tyle. In fact, with more & more virtual events & less in-person things happening, the most dressing up people might do these days is changing from PJ’s to proper sweats. Which is honestly OKAY because #ComfySzn NEVER goes out of style! But for the few time people are going outside to grab essential items, meet up with a friends at a distant, or go for an outdoor activity - people are dressing to be noticed. And i’m noting the trends!
I wanted to share with you the top Key Items You NEED This Fall 2020! Though this isn’t like any other szn we’ve encountered, trends are still taking people by storm & I know you don’t want to be left out! Don’t worry, most of these won’t break the bank! I’m sharing fall wear essentials you need & probably already own. Take a look below at the list & see which basics you need to dust off, and show out in!
Here’s 7 Key Items You NEED This Fall!
#1: Beanie
BEANIES are the ultimate cover up! Whether it’s cold outside, or a bad case of bed head, a BEANIE is essential for anyone! It’s also a great addition to pairing your outfits together! You can match it with your hoodie, pants, or shoes! No matter the weather this Fall, you’ll get more than a couple days wear out of this must-have item!
#2: Overshirt
OVERSHIRTS are the new uniform! Whether you’re running errands & looking to wear more than just sweats, or want to look more presentable for your Zoom calls, an OVERSHIRT is the perfect combo item when dressing for the season. It’s a jacket, but pairs like a shirt & can be super versatile with anyone’s style. It’s great for those not so cold days & is a great item to help you layer!
#3: Varsity Jacket
The new must-have jacket that everyone’s rockin’ these days is a VARSITY JACKET! Fitting for the back-to-school szn, this on-theme-trend isn’t just taking over everyone’s closets, but taking over the cities too! Whether it’s new skool jackets or old skool ones, there’s tons of different styles & varieties to choose from! One of my favourites is the Denim Khaki Varsity Jacket from GAP!
#4: Sweater / Crewneck
I feel like this one goes without saying, but it’s SO NEEDED around this time. A SWEATER is definitely a stable, and an item everyone probably already owns. What’s great about a SWEATER is it not only keeps you warm, but it pairs so nicely with tons of different items too! Pair this with Jeans, Chinos, Cargos or even Painter Pants!
It’s all about the comfy vibes this szn!
#5: Plaid
Of all the items you NEED this fall - this one is a MUST! PLAID is a style that everyone gravitates to in the fall. Could be a flannel, or a button down shirt, pants, a scarf, or even a backpack! It’s a casual style to throw on for any occasion & still dress the part! I love me a flannel, to help with layering, but you can even go for a pair of PLAID pants & dress it with a solid colour crewneck or hoodie! Any one of those is a great option for the szn!
#6: Converse
One pair of kicks that everyone’s rockin’ this szn, is a pair of good ol’ CONVERSE! And for GOOD REASON too! These style of hightop shoes are super trendy right now & pair GREAT with open bootcut jeans, or cargo pants! It’s a trend i’m seeing everywhere & everyone’s rockin’ CONVERSE when they do it! These are such a stable, I wouldn’t be surprised if you already owned a pair!
#7: Boots
One of my favourite styles to rock during the Fall szn, is a pair of BOOTS! And if you don’t already own a pair, you gotta invest in a good pair of BOOTS. From leather, to dessert style, to even. hiking pair - they’re a great style of footwear to keep you warm & help you transition into the colder months, from fall to winter!
And there you have it! These are the top 7 key items you NEED this fall 2020! Now, I use NEED vaguely, because no one’s really going anywhere to NEED to wear any of these to. But it’s a great time to stock up on the essential items, especially the stables you don’t already own. A ton of these style are versatile too, so you can even wear them any season of the year!
