🍂 FALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! 🍂

It’s September 2nd, which means we’re a lot closer to Fall than we are Summer! Despite this season being different than most, we had our fun this summer. But now - I’m ready for colder weather, layering, pumpkin pie, scary movies, the leafs changing & fall candles!
I am ready for it all!!!

If it wasn’t for Summer, Fall would be my favourite szn. Although there’s a lot of changing to look forward to in the Fall, the change i’m most excited for is FALL FASHION. Fashion in the Fall is where a lot of men thrive & can style a lot more & layer tons of different fits. Summer is great for the weather, but the majority of the time, you’ll catch me in a T-shirt & shorts, or a short sleeve button down & shorts. Not much versatility. But Fall - there’s tons of different options to choose from. And I’m excited, specifically about this 10!

To kick off the September, I wanted to share what i’m looking forward to this upcoming szn! From Jackets to shoes, to the #workwear trends & much more, here’s 10 Things I’m Looking Forward To This Fall!

JACKETS

JACKETS are a BIG PART of Fall for me! JACKETS are personally something I splurge on, especially when it comes to the colder months. Living in Toronto, Canada, where it’s generally colder more than half of the year, it’s really important for me to express my style or even my #currentmood through my JACKET. WORKWEAR is a big trend right now, so I’m looking forward to sporting simple fit JACKETS like this Eisenhower Work Jacket

I feel like this trend had slow momentum, but recently, this is all I see anyone wearing these days. WORKWEAR is a simple trend, but one that’s super practical & super comfy too! I love the baggier fit jeans + pants & the simple zip-up collared jackets. It’s a great style for something trying to change up their look, & trying to dress for
work & play!

Another big fall staple would most def be JEANS. IDK if it’s the essential back-2-school items, or if it’s just apart of the #fallvibes, but denim JEANS are always trendy around the beginning of fall. I also love that slim fit or baggy-er denim is becoming that new pair everyone wants to rock. Slim JEANS pair a lot nicer with converse or any hightop sneaker! It’s a great look to sport this szn!

If there was an essential fall item - this would be top 2, but not 2 - you feel me? CREWNECKS + HOODIES are definitely the most worn item when it comes to dressing for fall & figuring out what to wear. This fashion piece needs no introduction & is probably something you’re wearing while even reading this piece! There’s no doubt that CREWNECKS + HOODIES are a staple!

This is an item I’m REALLY looking forward to shop for this szn! PANTS! Something everyone has, but never has enough of. Especially with trends changing so frequently. One pair you definitely need in your rotation is a pair of CARGOS! Their a pair we’ve all seen a lot in recent years & isn’t going out of style anytime soon. Another item you might need to re-up on is a good pair of CHINOS. CHINOS are a great for dressing up, or dressing casual. They’re a staple you need, but not everyone has the right pair that fits them right. Shop for a new pair this szn & see how you can style them.

Now this is just a prediction!!! I don’t know why I feel this, but I TRULY FEEL like GREEN is going to be the colour of the szn!!! no matter what shade, brightness, or tone, this is the colour you’ll want to rock all Fall long! I notice a lot of PANTS are coming in the DARK or ARMY GREEN shade, as well as some JACKETS too! If you don’t have this colour already, it’ll definitely be a tone you’ll want to consider!

Another very staple item to own this upcoming szn would be a FLANNEL! FLANNELS are super great for layering & can be styled with tons of different graphic tees, pants, or even shoes! It’s a really great item to own, that you’ll be glad you have! Try picking a FLANNEL in a primary colour, to better style / match other items you’re looking to layering it with!

Looking to sport a one-of-a-kind look?? Shopping VINTAGE is the way to go & a trendy that’s going to be even bigger this szn! Not only can shopping VINTAGE or thrifting be more cost effective, but it gives you a more unique look that not everyone is going to have from shopping fast fashion. A lot more stores are purchasing VINTAGE finds, allowing it more accessible for their customers. If you’re looking this old skool looks for less, shopping at your local thrift store is the way to go!

I’m really not even sure if this needs to be brought to anyone’s attention, but Jordan 1’s are HUGE rn & only gaining in popularity. Whether it’s the classic highs or the dunk lows that have made an impressive comeback, any one of these two styles will be in your rotation all szn long! I’m looking to grab a pair of the Nike Dunk Low University Red (2020) myself!

Wanna know this szn’s most popular accessory? If you guessed it’s a TOTE - you’re absolutely right! This particle item is one you’ll want to have on you at all times! Whether you’re shopping local, or just running an errands & need a bag for your wallet, keys & airpods, this bag is what you’ll want to be seen in.
