Of The Month!

March was an exciting month for me!

One of my goals for the year was to finally get invited to event. And I FINALLY got to accomplish that goal - twice! I was blessed to be invited to two events in the City this month. And of course, I'm going to share my experience with you guys!

I was honored to be invited to the Asics Canada store opening event as well as
the HOUSE 99 by David Beckham event. Both were a lot of fun! I met new people,
ate a lot of new foods, took a lot of photos & videos & wanted to share all of this
with you, in this months HIGHLIGHT!

I had the pleasure of attending the flagship store opening event for Asics Canada. The event was to launch the new Asics retail store, located on Queen St W, in Toronto. This was my first event ever attending & It was truly incredible how it was put together. The DJ they had for this event was amazing & playing ALL the tracks! They had a bunch of finger foods & also mini bar. 

I absolutely loved the shoe wall that they had on displayed! It was such a clean, colourful & cohesive way to display all the shoes. Definitely #GOALS, if I ever had as many shoes as they did! I really loved the Asics Gel Diablo Sneaker!
Love the colourway & the style of these Kicks. 

It was honestly really cool to be apart of this store open & have this be my first event. Although it was a little intimidating at first, I did meet & connect with a few new people that welcomed me into the blogger world. I noticed being at an event for the first time, I was super inverted & almost wanted to leave right away. Being in a place full of such successful people & bloggers, almost made me feel like I didn't  belong. But once I talked with a few people, even bloggers that I follow online, that inspire me, I felt super motivated & even more blessed to be there. My blog isn't even a year old yet, & I'm already being invited to events with people that inspire my passion. Then, it all became about perspective.
I'm super excited to continue to work hard & push myself even further with content for me blog. I'm excited to share my journey & see where blogging takes me. And luckily, it took me to my SECOND event for this month too!! 

I was super honoured to be invited to my second event of the month, HOUSE 99 by David Beckham. 
HOUSE 99 is Beckham's new Men's Grooming line which features a lot of daily products you would normally use. From Face moisturizer, to Shampoo, to spray Deodorant, to Beard oil & a ton more! It was great to be invited to this event to check out all the products for myself. 

I really liked that this event was super chill. Not as massive as the first event I had attended. I was even lucky enough to know a few friends at this event & even meet new ones too. I was definitely less introverted at this event, which was nice to come out of my shell & actually TALK & meet new people. It's something I'm working on & hopefully get better at. 

At the HOUSE 99 event, they had a barber in the middle of the room, giving people haircuts & testing out the products. I decided to give this a try & I got him to shape up my beard for me. He was super cool & really did a great job! He loved my beard & how well kept it was & even gave me some tips on how I can continue to keep it lookin' sharp. 

I had a really fun time at the HOUSE 99 event & even left with some HOUSE 99 goodies! Can't wait to review them & share my thoughts on these products with you guys! Stay tuned!

That was my HIGHLIGHT for this month! I felt really blessed & grateful to be invited to both event. Thank you to both Asics Canada & HOUSE 99 for having me! Can't wait to share more stories & opportunities like this with you guys in the future. Stay tuned for more!
