Here's the deal. I've always been pretty health conscious & into living a healthy lifestyle. Like others, every summer, I slim down a little, gearing to get in shape for the summer.
I change up my workout plan, do a little extra cardio & am really strict with my eating habits. I do this every year, and most years, my results are slow to start.

Last year, I heard of a dieting secret, that helps slim people down. Apple Cider Vinegar. This trend has been around for centuries & when doing my research on this natural fat burner, the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar were outstanding! Known as ACV for short, It's a vinegar made from apples, sugar & yeast. 

I had heard of this trend & wanted to see if it would help me in losing some extra fat during my summer shred process. I wasn't sure what exactly to expect.
One things for sure - I was NOT expecting this!

Here's a bit of a back story. I initially became interested in taking Apple Cider Vinegar (Or ACV) because I heard it was really good as burner fat quickly. I was just off of my summer detox, and into cutting season, and wanted something to help the process of me slimming down. I had done my research & read on the pros & cons of taking ACV & how to take it properly. I decided to give it a try. 

At first, I could NOT get over how potent it was!! That smell was AWFUL! But then, It quickly became a routine as right after my shot of ACV, I would oil pull, then brush my teeth & get ready for my day. 

After about a week, or two, I almost felt like I didn't notice a difference. I wasn't sure what i was suppose to notice or how I was suppose to feel. Then in about the second or third week, I noticed that one of my pants became pretty lose on me. But I didn't think anything of it because I was also working out pretty heavy & getting my HITT cardio in. Then i started getting comments & complements on my look. People noticing that I had thinned out really quickly, but still kept my size. I myself didn't even notice these changes that a lot of people were really noticing. It was a cool feeling. 

Then I started to self analyzing myself. I noticed my stomach had really flatted, in comparison to my workout & diet last year. I could REALLY see my abs, and it had only really been 1 month of starting my cutting diet. I even considered the ACV almost being a plasebo effect, becaause after getting use to taking it, I FELT better too! I felt like it really helps improve my gut health, and I definietly noticed it kept me .... regular. And although I don't have a strict diet, when it came to my appetite, I never over ate. I felt like my appetite was very controlled & I loved that. 

Overall, although it's been over 4 weeks. I've lost about 15 pounds during my summer shred & my time taking ACV shots. I haven't stopped fully taking these shots, but I'm not as committed to it as I was during the 4 weeks.
I generally love adding it to my morning routine & getting my ACV shot in to help me throughout my day.

How I take my Apple Cider Vinegar Shot

  1. 1/4 of Apple Cider Vinegar
  2. Some Lemon Juice
  3. Some Honey
  4. 1/2 of Water
 

Everyone's different. Personally, for me, taking a shot of ACV was easier for me & my routine. Although ACV is known for it's acidity, right after taking the shot, I would oil pull with Coconut Oil, for ten minutes. For me, oil pulling right after really helps my mouth & I didn't notice any lack of enamel, which is why people caution others on ACV

I would recommend taking ACV as a drink, if you think that's best for you and your morning routine. You'll still reap the benefits of ACV. 🍎
