Here it is! The posts you've all been waiting for!
I just got back from the most amazing weekend! I'm so grateful I got the opportunity to head to Montreal this past weekend for the Osheaga Music Festival! It was my first time attending the festival & my first time really in Montreal. I had been to the city once before, but I was super young & only spent the day, so I don't really remember it. But this past weekend, is a weekend I'll never forget!
Huge shout out goes to H&M for sending me to the music festival. I had the most amazing time because of you & I'm so thankful! Thank you for sponsoring this blog post as well!
Since this was a weekend of many firsts, I didn't want to miss a beat! I took what seems like a million photos, some detailed videos for IG Story & also bought a vlog camera!
So I was really able to capture my first Osheaga experience for you guys!
Here's how my weekend went down.
Shirt [Patterned Resort Shirt $29.99], Shorts [Slim Fit City Shorts $12.99]
Shirt [Regular Fit Poplin Shirt $29.99], Shorts [Straight Fit Denim Shorts $34.99]
Shirt [Patterned Resort Shirt $29.99], Shorts [Knee-length cotton shorts $14.99]
I was so excited when I heard I was going to Osheaga! But, of course I was even MORE excited when I heard I would be going with H&M! Anyone that knows me personally knows in High School I wore nothing but H&M!
So when I got this opportunity to attend the festival with them, High School me was ecstatic!
What was really dope about the whole experience was that I got to dress head to toe in H&M. This was easy enough for me, because it's so easy to pair different Fits & styles together at H&M. I had no problem picking Fits for Osheaga & I'm so pleased with the items I chose!
Day 1 was a perfect summer day! Not too hot, with a bit of a breeze. I decide to go with a dark colour scheme to start off the weekend festivities ahead. I paired on of H&M's resort short sleeve button down shirts with their navy blue, side striped shorts. I'm really into the one tuck trend right now, so I tucked one side of the shirt in, while the other laid free.
I loved the colour scheme of this Fit & got a ton of compliments through the first day!
The whole weekend was filled with non-stop fun! There was so many attractions & little activities to do all around the festival. There was a HUGE ferris wheel on one side of the park, as well as a giant swing carousel too! H&M also had a bunch of little photo booths around the entire park! I checked them all out for some photos for myself too!
Day 2 was a little hotter, so I decided to go with a chiller festival fit. I really loved these super distressed denim jeans H&M had, so I thought about pairing them with an oversized white button down shirt. Although pairing them with my Dad shoes made it look like I was ready to fire up the grill, everyone seemed to love how simple, yet put together it was. The oversized white button down was super lightweight as well, so it kept me super cool through the day.
Although Day 2 didn't have much selection of artists I wanted to see throughout the day, I got to catch three artists I was dying to see live! Khalid was the first artist I got to see on Saturday. Although I had been to his concert in the past, it was such a vibe being in the crowd & everyone singing along. There nothing better then jamming out to one of your favourite artists & everyone knows the each song, word for word. The other two artists I hadn't seen though, so I was pumped to check out their set. Anderson Paak had the best set of the night! Had had the whole crowd movin' & groovin' as he laid down some Rap, Hip Hop & Funk! I was a big fan of Anderson before, but became an even bigger fan saturday night! Tyler The Creator was the third person of that night & his set was wild!
For Day 3 we came early to soak up as much of the final day as we could. The last day also happened to be the HOTTEST day of the weekend too. With their being minimal shade, I spent a fair bit of the day staying in H&M's VIP booth, staying cool & watching some artsits up there. I watched Dua Lipa's set of the booth & had the most amazing view of her & the crowd! Everyone ran over to see her perform & now I know why too. Dua's set was amazing! After that set, I went down to the crowd to get pretty close for Post Malone. I was a huge fan of his latest album, so I wanted to get really close to get a good view. He was AMAZING & played a bunch of the songs I loved! I even got to hear one of my favourite songs "I Fall Apart". SUCH a good set!
And to end of the night, I got to see one of my favourite bands BROCKHAMPTON! I was waiting all weekend to see them live & I'm so glad I did!!! I was SUPER hyped for their set & so was everyone in that crowd! I was lucky enough to get pretty close up, and It's a memory I will never forget. They performed all of my favourite songs by them like "Gold", "Star", "Bleach", "Rental, "Tokyo" & a ton more from all their albums. Even some new songs too like "1999 DIANA". Their set was amazing & I'm so happy I finally got to see them perform!
H&M gave me the most amazing experience ever & I'm so grateful for the opportunity! I really love going to music festivals & this was my favourite one to date! Osheaga was just filled with good vibes, good people & great music!
Although I'm of course excited to see some of my favourite artists, I'm always open & excited to hear new music & see new artists I've either never listened to or never heard of. While at the festival I heard some music from The Neighbourhood, Blondie, Bahamas. I even got to catch a little bit of Florence & the Machine's set! They were AMAZING as well!
I'm also blown away with how many people I met this weekend. From new friends, to other bloggers & influencers, to different marketing agents. It was great to meet different people from all over & share our weekend experience together. A lot of the people I met were either from Montreal or had been to Osheaga before, so they were super excited for me when I told them it was my first time at Osheaga this year! With that being said, it's definitely not my last!
This weekend was really incredible & I'm so thankful for the whole experience. Thank you again H&M for sending me to Osheaga, I had the most amazing time & the best weekend ever! It was such a fun filled weekend seeing my favourite artists, meeting new people, seeing all the cool places & the culture of the Montreal. I already wish I could do it all over again.
