Summer has started & the energy in the city is super contagious! I really feel like Summer 19’ is going to be an amazing season, filled with good vibes & good energy!!
Good vibes ONLY!!!

Now as you start to make your summer plans & start planning what to wear to these Summer events, I want to remind you guys about accessories. Yes, accessories.

Now, if you’ve been following my blog from the jump, the one thing I’ve always talked about are Sling Bags! AKA Fanny Packs!! As soon as this bag came into fashion a couple years ago, I was all for it & ready to help get it trending. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fanny in my younger days, but this stylish bag is super practical for my day to day use, that it just makes a great addition to any Fit i’m rocking. If there’s one item you NEED to have this Summer - it’s a dope pair of Sunglasses!!! These babies will not only shield your eyes, but can really take your Fit from “Nice”, to “Jeeeeeeezeee!”. Even getting a good, cheap pair of Sunnies is, in my opinion, a really good investment. Depending on how wild your summer gets, you don’t want to lose your really expensive pair of sunglasses. Utility Belts have been my thing since seeing Michael B. Jordan wear one to the 2018 Met Gala. Since seeing his look & buying the same OFF-WHITE belt, I’ve noticed how many opportunities guys can have to wear a dope belt & have it be seen & not just hidden underneath your shirt. Whether you tuck the shirt in, wear the belt on top of your outfit or let your belt hang low; belts are a new trend that I am definitely into at the moment!

I’ve always been a ring guy but in the past I’ve only rocked one ring at a time while always making sure the silver, black or gold ring matched the outfit I was wearing. Although, lately I’ve really been into wearing multiple rings, both chunky & thin rings, I feel like rings add so much subtle detail to a casual outfit. I’ve recently been on a ring hunt to find unique styles that are affordable & won’t turn in colour/ rust.

Now this might not seem like an accessory to some but to me its not only an accessory but probably my most important one. As mentioned before, an accessory to me is any outfit add-on that you wear or use that doesn’t fall under the category of apparel or shoes.

Now, have you ever been out with someone & watched as they pulled out their wallet to pay for something & been shocked at the sight of their wallet? Maybe you don’t look that hard, but I definitely do & I can’t help but notice big chunky bi-fold or tri-fold wallets where guys store every single card they’ve ever owned plus coins,
cash & A MOUNTAIN of receipts.

To all my guys out there, it’s time to say goodbye to the chunky overflowing wallets & say hello to slim card holders. They are:
1.) inexpensive because less material is being used in comparison
2.) more sleek therefore less noticeable in pant pockets

Beaded bracelets are something that I first got into last summer & since then I’ve just been adding more & more to my wrist. Actually, True Religion Creative Director @allenonyia is the person who’s actually inspired me to wear more bracelets & work them into my outfits. I love the way he stacks all of his bracelets on both wrists, even under & above his different watches. Some people might prefer to have 1 or 2 quality bracelets that are expensive & luxurious & keep it at that. But for me, I don’t mind buying cheap, beaded bracelets with elastic strings because I'm not so much hooked to a specific bracelet as I am the overall look. Getting different cheap style allows for affordable layering which I love.
