5 Tips On
How To Be More Organized!
Somedays get busier than others. And it may seem impossible to tackle everything on that To-Do list of yours. Whether it be business, school, or even personal goals you've set for yourself, it gets tough to fit them all into your busy day.
Do you ever feel like this? ๐โโ๏ธ Don't worry - you're not alone! For me, I NEED to be organized, in order to function! There's a lot I need to tackle in the short span of 24 hours, so I need to:
1.) Know my schedule
2.) Know my tasks for the day
3.) Know how long I have to complete them
I know this doesn't work for everyone, but managing my time has never been easier, because I try to stay as organized as possible. It really helps me stay on top of things I need to get done & leaves me time from things I want to do as well!

If you're struggling with staying organized, I hope this can help! Here's my 5 tips on how to be more organized!
๐ Write Things Down! ๐
Ever make a plan in your head, or add something to your mental to-do list? Then forget to do it?
Yeah, don't worry - you're not alone!! Our brains are constantly getting filled with ideas, concepts & tons of information. Writing things down that you need to remember later, gives you a far better chance of actually remembering them when you have to. In 2014, the Association of Psychological Science reported that students who physically took notes received a memory boost โ compared to those who took notes via a laptop. Simply writing something down & placing that reminder in a place you can't avoid, will help you remember things more, which might even
make you more productive!
Practice Mise En Place (Putting In Place)
I look up to chefs. Wanna know why? Chefs are extremely organized! And recently, I found out their secret.
Chefs have a place for everything they use in the kitchen! They sort out their clothes, wrapping paper, cleaning
materials & keep them labeled in drawers & containers or cupboards. In the kitchen, chefs are trained to organize their workspace well so their every move is conserved and they know exactly where all the ingredients are. This is exactly
how I aspire to be in life! I want a place for everything I have, so I don't even need to think twice on where things
are or where things need to be. Doing this definitely takes some time. But, after a while youโll see how much easier it is
to find what you need, when you need it!
Clean Up Regularly!
Do you ever get overwhelmed by how many texts messages you have in your phone from 3 years ago? Or start to sweat when you look at a cluttered computer desktop? If you answered yes to both, CONGRATS! You're just like me! ๐
Cleaning your space regularly doesn't just apply to your bedroom, or work desk. Your computer, your phone, your backpack, your closet. All these things are things that work best when they get cleaned regularly. Whether it's clearing storage space on your phone for photos, or deleting old messages & photos you don't need on your computer. Throwing away old clothes you haven't worn in years, or finally throwing away those binders from high school that have been sitting on your desk, taking up space. Managing your space well, works in your favour indefinitely.
Make Note Of What's Priority & What's NOT
There's only 24 hours in the day. We all know this. Yet, most of us are constantly scrambling to get everything we need to get done within those 24 hours. Priorities become hazy & it becomes more of 'how many things can I get done' rather than 'what is important to get done today' and also 'what can wait'. Simply making note of your priorities & giving yourself deadlines for when they need to be completed by is a MAJOR ๐ to becoming more organized. If there's something on your list that's your first priority, schedule when you can work on your second & third priority. Use time to help plan how long things should take & when you can move on to your next task, rather to trying to tackle everything on your list at once.
Set Aside A Day You Know You Can Get S*it DONE!
Feeling overwhelmed with your overbearing To-Do list? Sometimes it may feel IMPOSSIBLE to accomplish everything you need to get done in 24 hours. And if we're being honest with ourselves - it probably IS! When prioritizing
your tasks, it's okay to set aside a day to complete more tasks than some. It's okay to have a ME day & then make
time to finish some tasks another day too. Sometimes life does get overwhelming & that's when we get stressed the most. Know what you can handle & set aside time to finish task another day. As long as you're planning ahead, your
already on top of your s๐ฉit!
