👌 Just like Drake, I like my Chips with the DIP too! 👌
I know hanging out with a group of friends feels like a billion years ago, but when I used to host & have friends over, I’d always make classic Nachos for them. I always felt like Nachos were such a great appetizer to have & they are also super easy to make! These soon become my specialty as my friends always requested them, no matter the occasion! Today I wanted to finally share my secret & also give you some to make to kick off this weekend!
With Super Bowl excitement in the air & everyone gearing up for it, I wanted to have something for you guys to make & get you excited for the game this Sunday too! Although this year looks super different for the Super Bowl (just like everything else…), this will be a great shareable snack for anyone in your pack, or just for you!
Grab your notes app to right these steps down, or grab a pan, some veggies, chips & some cheese & make em alongside with me!
My Iconic Nacho Recipe
What You’ll Need:
1 Full Bag of Nacho Chips
1 Full Bag of Mixed Shredded Cheese
4 Peppers (Red, Green, Yellow + Orange)
1 Tomatoes
1 Onion
An Oven
Cooking Pan
Foil
Small Bowls For Your Chopped Vegetables
Cutting Board
Cutting Knife
Okay, so we’re gonna start by preheating the oven to 350*, and while it’s heating up we’re going to prep our nachos. Once you have your pan you’re going to make them in & you’ve put your foil down on the pan, you’re going to take your half of your Nacho chips & spread them evenly all through the pan. Once your first layer of chips has been distributed evenly, you’re going to take your shredded cheese and start spreading them throughout the first layer of chips. Try not to go too crazy with the cheese on the first layer, because we will be adding more cheese later on. Then you’re going to lightly start adding your vegetables. There’s no order in which vegetables to start with, so that option is totally up to you! But you’re only going to add half of your vegetables - not all of them!
Once you’ve added half of your vegetables, you’re going to go back to your chips, and add more, or the remainder of the chip bag. Once you’ve added more chips, you’re going to add more a little more cheese. You’ll be adding more / the rest of the cheese at the end, so make sure you save enough cheese for that final step. You’re going to then add the rest of your vegetables, and then you’re ready to finish off your nachos by adding the rest of the cheese on top. Make it as cheesy as you’d like!
Once done, you’re going to put the Nacho pan into the oven (set at 350*) for about 10-13 minutes, or until golden. Once done, let cool for about 3-5 minutes & serve! You can eat these by themselves, with Salsa dip, or my personal favourite it eating these with Avocado dip! And there you have it!
