I’m sure the current events circulating news stations & timelines needs no introduction. After the brutal death of George Floyd, the world knew something needed to be done & things needed to change. Since then, we’ve marched. We’ve protested. We’ve signed. We’ve donated. Although the awareness has been raised, how do we continue fighting? How do we continue making change & getting justice for Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery or even our local Black community??
To tie into the fashion / blogger community, I wanted to draw your attention to these tees that support charities against racism, as well as funds against police brutality. I wanted to share these smaller brands with you, to also help local brands + local businesses during this time of COVID, but also because when you buy any one of these tees, all of the proceeds are going to the Black Lives Matter Foundation, Equal Justice Initiative, National Bail Out, Know Your Rights Camp, Reclaim the Block and a ton more credible charities.

This shirt was first made in 2017, Russ had just hit a million followers and he was about to do 5 major festivals for his first time ever, he called me and we were discussing what to wear. This was the first time Russ really had a huge platform and we thought let’s make some shirts that can actually make a difference. We came up with 5 shirt ideas, this was one of them... be on the right side of history.

We originally released this graphic in 2015 but we feel this is more relevant now than ever. If you can’t purchase a tee we suggest you do whatever it is you can to help the cause whether it be spreading useful information, signing petitions, protesting etc.. Now is the time for action. Stick together. Make a plan. Rise above.
It’s important for us to keep the conversation going. Though most of us are going to try to get back to a “normal routine”, the way Black people were treated prior to all of this was not normal. In fact, it wasn’t right. So whether it’s no longer on the news, or always on your TL, it’s important for us all to continue to do what we can to help bring justice to George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, ahmaud arbery, as well as the Black community.
