Old Fashions are a classic way to simply enjoying a nice whisky or bourbon, without overdoing it & raging the night away. It’s very calm, & mature & a great way to wind down after a stressful week. Today I’ll be sharing how I make a whisky old fashioned with Georgian Bay’s Whisky! Get your glass ready & follow below!
Here’s How To Make A Maple Old Fashioned
With Georgian Bay’s Whisky!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Georgian Bay Whisky
Ontario Maple Syrup
Angostura Bitters
An Orange
Cocktail Glass
1 oz Shot Glass
Cutting Board
Cutting Knife
Measuring Spoon
Ice
Tonight is whisky night! And we’re going to make a classic! Once you’ve got all your ingredients & items you need to get started, the first thing you’re going to start with is your Orange! Using your cutting board & your cutting knife, you’re going to slice two pieces of the orange. One piece is going to be used as decoration, so it’s just going to be a small orange peel. With the larger slice, you’re going to take the peel & slide it around the rim of the cocktail glass. Once completed, you’re going to take your 1 oz Shot Glass & pour 2 shots of the Georgian Bay Whisky into our cocktail glass. After that, it’s time to add our bitter. Drop 3-4 dashes of the Angostura Bitters into your cocktail glass, followed by 1/2 tsp of your Ontario Maple syrup. Once all ingredients are added, stir combination together.
Here, you’re able to add some Ice Cubes, if needed.
To prep our cocktail before consuming, take the first, smaller orange peel from earlier & twist it. This releases its oils & is added for decoration. Now, you’re ready to sip & enjoy!
And there you have it! A super easy & classic way to enjoy a Maple Old Fashioned with Georgian Bay Whisky! If you’re 19+ & older, you can find Georgian Bay Whisky online at lcbo.com
