What Shows I'm Watching During Quarantine

📺 Ok, pass the snacks & move down - it’s time to #binge 📺
We’re more than a couple weeks into this #quarantine & if we’re anything alike, all we’ve been doing is binging tv shows. TBH, that’s all that’s been keeping me sane during this time. That & Tik Tok, but that’s another post for a different day. Between some shows that started before the quarantine & some shows i’ve binged through last weekend, I thought it’d be fun to share some of the shows that are getting me through!
Here are the shows i’m watching during this quarantine!
I am SO STOKED that Insecure is BACK! And just in time too! If you haven’t been keeping up with this original series, let me give you the inside scoop. The show does an amazing job at giving an accurate representation of those awkward adulthood moments you thought you were dealing with alone. From friendship, relationships, career & even growing up black, it gives a great realistic & authentic perspective on the challenges & trials we all face. Especially black people.
I love topics they address & conquer, as well as the comedic relief around each episode. I’ve been invested in this show since season 1 & i’m so glad it’s back to hopefully get me through this quarantine!

I’m ALWAYS excited when a new season of The Challenge comes around!! In my teenage days, I was a BIG FAN of Mtv’s The Real World. Now, they’ve graduated & it’s onto the big leagues. With a couple of new contestes from other challenge-like shows added to the mix, The Challenge is a fun reality-game where players fight for their chance to win a big sum of money! But because everyone knows everyone from previous szn, as well as seasons of The Real World - the show also comes with a lot of drama! In these games, with history, comes conflict!
Tune in every Wednesday @8pm for the latest episodes, on MTV!
Now THIS SHOW has built up a TON of anticipation! Especially as it reaches its final episodes in the series. Season 6 has been a worldwind & I can’t stop watching! As the courts try their hardest to convict Annalise Keating of a bunch of crimes, every episode is an inch closer to seeing if Annalise will in fact, Get Away With Murder. If you haven’t given this show a go yet, right now is a great time to, with 6 seasons available to view!
Catch the last couple episodes on ABC, Thursday’s @10pm + Available on Netflix.
This show surprised me! Originally when I had heard of this series, I thought it was an interesting concept for a game-show, but honestly thought they were way too hot for me to even watch! After caving & giving the show a brief look, I actually really fell into the concept & the character development. Without spoiling much, with the lax of any physical connecting, the personal growth & the bound of mental communication couples built on the island, was really gratifying. Turned out to be a very positive show, which I wasn’t expecting. I really recommend giving this show a look, if you haven’t binged it already! With only 8 episodes, it is a quick watch.

With everything going on globally right now, I know this show might be hard for some to watch. But for me, because the pandemic is so wildy discussed & there’s new updates every second, I wanted to take this time to educate myself & gain a better understanding on what’s going on. And I love that that’s what this show does. For me, once in awhile, I really enjoy watching docu’s & Netflix has a great selection when it comes to documentaries. This show does a great job at showing how the world dealt with past pandemics & how viruses really form. If you’re able to handle this show at this time,
I highly recommend it.
